Therapy
Online, one-to-one therapy that meets you where you are; whatever you are carrying, and for however long it takes.
What to expect
Therapy is a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what is going on for you without judgement.
Sessions take place online via video call, so you can attend from wherever feels comfortable and safe for you.
There is no set agenda. We work with what you bring, at the pace that feels right.
Who therapy is for
Therapy is for anyone who wants support - you do not need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis to benefit.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and much more.
This is an affirming, inclusive space where all identities and orientations are welcomed and respected.
Areas I work with
Self-esteem & confidence
Feeling not quite good enough, or like you have to work hard to earn your place in the room - this is something many people carry quietly. Together we can explore where those feelings come from and start to shift them.
Grief & loss
Loss takes many forms: bereavement, the end of a relationship, a job, an identity, or a version of life you expected. There is no right way to grieve, and no timeline. I will sit with you in it.
Stress
When everything feels like too much and there is no space to breathe, therapy can help you understand what is driving the pressure and find ways to respond rather than just survive.
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up as constant worry, physical tension, avoidance, or a sense of dread you cannot quite name. We can work gently together to understand it, not fight it.
Low mood
Feeling flat, disconnected, or like the colour has gone out of things. Whether it comes and goes or has been around a long time, there is space here to explore what is underneath.
Phobias
Phobias can quietly shrink your world. Working at your pace, we can explore the fear, understand its roots, and gently expand what feels possible.
Relationship difficulties
Whether it is patterns that keep repeating, communication that breaks down, or simply feeling lost in a relationship - with yourself or others - therapy can help you find more clarity and connection.
Personal growth & self-discovery
You do not need to be struggling to benefit from therapy. Many people come simply wanting to understand themselves better, to explore who they are, what they want, and how they want to live.
Life transitions
Starting a new chapter can be disorienting even when the change is welcome. Whether it looks like a new job, a move, a relationship ending, becoming a parent, or simply feeling like you have outgrown who you were. Therapy offers a space to find your footing.
“Change occurs when one becomes what they are, not when they try to become what they are not.”
Arnold Beisser
An Integrative and Humanistic approach
What it is: big words for the simple idea that therapy should fit you, not the other way round. This means that therapy gets custom built for the individual.
How it works: I draw on different approaches week to week, shaped around you, the client.
The human part: This is the belief that people move towards growth naturally. Therapy just helps to create the right conditions for that.
Therapy Approaches
Person-centred therapy
Rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. The focus is on creating a warm, non-judgemental relationship in which you feel truly heard.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
A practical, evidence-based approach that explores the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and how to gently shift unhelpful patterns.
Gestalt therapy
Focuses on present-moment awareness and the whole person: thoughts, feelings, body. Gestalt helps you notice patterns in how you experience yourself and the world, and find new ways of being.
Mindfulness-based approaches
Draws on mindfulness practices to help you develop a kinder, more present relationship with your thoughts and emotions.
Transactional analysis
Explores the patterns in how we relate to ourselves and others, often rooted in early life experiences. Transactional analysis offers a clear, accessible base for better understanding those patterns, and finding more freedom in how we think, feel, and behave.
Curious about therapy?
You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. A short conversation is a good place to start.
